On April 19, twenty high school students from Minnetonka High School visited the NeuroRehabilitation Across the Lifespan (NeuRAL) Laboratory, directed by Rachel Hawe, PhD, to learn about how technology can be used to study neurologic impairments. The students are part of the VANTAGE Health Sciences program which provides experiential learning opportunities. The students got to learn about stroke and cerebral palsy, demo the Kinarm, try out different clinical assessments, and learn about kinesiology and careers in research and healthcare.
