NeuRAL Lab presents at American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine

Members of the NeuroRehabilitation Across the Lifespan (NeuRAL) Laboratory, led by Rachel Hawe, PhD, assistant professor in the School of Kinesiology, presented at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine in Chicago, IL. Shelby Ziccardi, PhD student in computer science co-advised by Hawe and Stephen Guy, PhD, presented a poster entitled “Video-Based Analysis of Bilateral Arm Use in Children with Hemiparetic Cerebral Palsy”, demonstrating the software tool she has developed to facilitate clinical assessments. Hawe was a panelist for the symposium “Developing a Career in Pediatric Rehabilitation Research”, where she shared advice on being an early career researcher.
