Rachel Hawe, PhD, assistant professor of kinesiology and director of the NeuroRehabilitation Across the Lifespan Laboratory (NeuRAL), Juergen Konczak, PhD, professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Human Sensorimotor Control Laboratory (HSCL), and members of the University's Neurorobotics Consortium co-hosted an international virtual meeting on Robotics for Treating Stroke with UMN faculty, Andrew Grande, PhD, from Neurosurgery and Ann van de Winckel, PhD, from Rehabilitation Science.

Rachel Hawe, PhD, assistant professor of kinesiology and director of the NeuroRehabilitation Across the Lifespan Laboratory, recently held a training in regards to her funded project by the American Physical Therapy Association Pediatrics Section entitled “Examining Visual Strategies in Motor Planning and Execution in Children with Hemiparetic Cerebral Palsy.”

Rachel Hawe, PhD, assistant professor of kinesiology and director of the NeuroRehabilitation Across the Lifespan Laboratory, was awarded an American Physical Therapy Association Pediatrics Research Grant for $29,966.

Despite the limitations imposed by COVID-19 precautions, this year the School of Kinesiology's Student Council (KinSC) reinvigorated the annual Kinesiology Research Day with a webinar conference on April 23, 2021.
