Hawe and Konczak organized international symposium on use of robotic technology in stroke

Rachel Hawe, PhD, assistant professor of kinesiology and director of the NeuroRehabilitation Across the Lifespan Laboratory (NeuRAL), Juergen Konczak, PhD, professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Human Sensorimotor Control Laboratory (HSCL), and members of the University's Neurorobotics Consortium co-hosted an international virtual meeting on Robotics for Treating Stroke with UMN faculty, Andrew Grande, PhD, from Neurosurgery and Ann van de Winckel, PhD, from Rehabilitation Science.

Hawe and lab members complete training on Kinarm Robot

Rachel Hawe, PhD, assistant professor of kinesiology and director of the NeuroRehabilitation Across the Lifespan Laboratory, recently held a training in regards to her funded project by the American Physical Therapy Association Pediatrics Section entitled “Examining Visual Strategies in Motor Planning and Execution in Children with Hemiparetic Cerebral Palsy.”
