Principal Investigator

My research interests are focused on improving outcomes for children and adults with neurologic impairments including cerebral palsy and stroke. I believe that applying engineering tools to rehabilitation problems can allow us to better understand the deficits individuals have and then develop better therapies. My background in biomedical engineering and interest in rehabilitation led me to the joint Doctorate of Physical Therapy and PhD in biomedical engineering graduate program at Northwestern University, where I complete my PhD under the supervision of Dr. Jules Dewald.
